27/10/23 - Chains are required on all vehicles today, 2WD fit chains at 6K 4WD fit chains at 10k. NO CHAINS NO ACCESS. Our road is not currently being maintained so please take care when driving. With on site construction heavy machinery will be operating up and down the road. ALWAYS keep left and drive with caution, check weather forecast before ascending the road and drive to conditions. A 50km/hr speed limit remains in place year round.
