2WD must fit chains at Bottom Hut. Summer Road is Open for 4x4 vehicles to come right up to the Main Tow - please radio from the container first and grab your nutcrackers there if you need them!

Thursday August 21st - We are OPEN! We picked up 17cm of highly wind affected snow this week. Its variable, there's some good, some bad, some in-between. Thanks to everyone who came up yesterday to help us ski it! There are still plenty of freshies to be found for the adventerous riders out there. To top it off our terrain park crew aka the School Bunkers kids have been learning from Cardrona and we have the best park in all of Canterbury. This storm is like a wind pressed shark cage, keeping things at bay, you might still have some babys nipping at your heels on the way back to the tow. Come enjoy some smooth chalky turns on Main Face on another beautiful sunny day. You can drive to our lifts - ride them up and ski back down - what more could you ask for? Come out and enjoy a powder day at The Playground of the Gods! Biggest question of the day - which staff member is going to out perform the rest and ski the best line?
