Mōrena from Whakapapa.It's a beautiful, fine, and clear morning on the maunga. The stars have been shining overnight, and it's shaping up to be a fantastic day for the school holidays.Today, Snowland, the Sky Waka Gondola, and Knoll Ridge Chalet will all open from 9:00am. Happy Valley Rentals, Guest Services, Lorenz's Bar and Café and Retail will all be open from 8:30am, while our First Timer Ski and Snowboard Lessons in Happy Valley also begin from 9:00am.A quick travel update: the Bruce Road is currently restricted to four-wheel drive vehicles or two-wheel drive vehicles with chains due to icy conditions this morning. Please take extra care if you're travelling to the mountain.Spaces in Snowland are filling up fast, so we recommend booking online or in person when you arrive to secure your preferred session.We can't wait to welcome you to Whakapapa.
