Hi there,
I am going to Mt Hutt this Saturday for snowboarding. I am 36 and driven there quite a few times before. My car is a 4WD RAV4 with chains on board for additional safety. I have snowboard/ski rack mounted on my car roof with a total of 4 spaces.
I will leave Christchurch very early in the morning (around 5am) and return early afternoon (around 2pm). Share ride fee is $25 per person; so call me on my cellphone 021505393 if you are interested so we can plan. Cheers

Weather Comment
It is now 4pm and Mt Hutt is closed for the day. Today brought wild and windy conditions, making it a challenging one on the mountain. A big thank you to our team for their efforts and flexibility throughout the day, and to our guests who joined us despite the weather – we truly appreciate your support. The good news is tomorrow is looking great, with calmer conditions on the way. We’re looking forward to a much more enjoyable day on the slopes. We will check the conditions in the morning and update the report by 6.30am. Drive safe, and we look forward to seeing you all soon.

The Alpine Sports Adventure crew will be set up on the hill tomorrow – come scope the newest skis, boards, and gear, and maybe even take a demo for a spin.
