Porters Snow Report

Information

Porters is open with all lifts running, the road is chain free and there’s some fun turns to be had around the mountain. As always we will be offering up short lift queues, hassle free parking, and a relaxed friendly vibe. It’s going to be a great day to get out there and make the most of the last day of the school holidays. At 5:45am we have light winds from the north west in the base area, increasing to moderate on the upper mountain. These winds are forecast to reduce and go south west later today. The temperature is 3 degrees. There is patchy high cloud. McNultys has been groomed wide all the way down to Stellar Bowl, and with soft cord first thing, there will be some great skiiing and riding to be had on the upper mountain. Off trail and lower mountain has some thin cover in places and deep drifted snow in others. The lower mountain trails and beginners area have groomed up nicely overnight. Our shuttle service will be running return trips throughout the day, picking up at chain bay 2 at 8:45am, 9:30am, 10am, 10:30am and 11:00am. Return shuttles will be available all afternoon. Porters Lodge, Restaurant and Bar will be running Snowplay again from 10am to 4pm. This will be the last day of Snowplay until next weekend.
