Headin to hutt, not to serrious about early say around 8am with that southerly blowing a gale better fix my chains. got 1 space. leaving from cashmere. probably wont stay all day about (4-5 hours) unless the snow is soft fresh n fun and my foot stays together. ah yeah. Matt

Road info

Chains are required on ALL vehicles from Chain Bay 1 (Info Booth). Self-fit chain hire is available from Chain Bay 1 (Info Booth). Drivers of vehicles who breach our chain call and invariably require assistance from our road patrol team will be charged a $800 fee. All other vehicles must carry chains as road surface conditions can change quickly due to traffic volumes and/or weather conditions. If you see a line of traffic forming behind you, please pull to the side to allow faster vehicles past. Speed limit on the access road is 40km/h – maintain 2-way access at all time.

The snow is still falling!Our grooming team has had another great night on the mountain, and all main trails have been freshly groomed.Great news, it's started snowing and we've already received 12cm of new snow. Today is shaping up to be a lot of fun with some fresh pow! The forecast is for snow on and off throughout the day, so throw in your low-light lenses and goggles and come up for some fresh turns.Start your day with a delicious breakfast and coffee up at Ōpuke with our amazing crew.We look forward to seeing you on the slopes!
