Road info
Chains are required on 2WD vehicles from Chain Bay 1 (Info Booth) and 4WD from Chain Bay 2 (Canterbury View). Check signage at the start of the access road as this requirement might be relaxed as the day warms up. Self-fit chain hire is available from Chain Bay 1 (Info Booth). Drivers of vehicles who breach our chain call and invariably require assistance from our road patrol team will be charged a $800 fee. If you see a line of traffic forming behind you, please pull to the side to allow faster vehicles past. Speed limit on our access road is 40km/h. Please keep to the left to maintain two-way access at all times.
