Weather Comment

Today we have a mixed bag ahead of us with showers, some heavy, forecast through out the day. This is looking to ease this afternoon and flick to cold with some snow likely. Moderate Westerly winds and freezing level dropping from 1000 - 500m

Information

UPDATE - THURSDAY 18 September @ 8:30am With mild temps and rain over the last couple of days we have lost a significant amount of snow. There has been a dusting of snow this morning (Thursday) but at this stage its not enough to make up for what we've lost. There is more snow snow in the forecast for later today but quantities look minimal. At this stage its looking at the snowpack and unsettled weather over the weekend its unlikely we will be in a strong position to re-open for another long weekend. We will reassess tomorrow and advise once there is some further clarity.
