Road info
With the fresh snow on the road, please fit chains on 2WD vehicles from Chain Bay 1 (Info Booth) to start the day. Chain hire is available from McEwings at Chain Bay 1. All other vehicles please carry chains. The speed limit on our access road is 40km/h. If you see a line of vehicles forming behind you, please pull to the side to allow faster vehicles to pass. Keep to the left and maintain 2-way access at all times. Beware of sunstrike before 9am this morning. Thanks!

Good morning! At 6 am we have clear skies overhead and stunning views across the Canterbury plains. Winds are currently averaging 50km/hr over the summit from the WSW and are forecasted to stay relatively steady through the day.We received a skiff of new snow early last night which has set us up for some great conditions on our groomed runs. It will be a chilly start to the day so conditions off-piste will start firm but may soften on solar aspects. Please check and respect all signage.Please keep an eye on the Snow Report for the latest updates. We look forward to seeing you today.
