I'm going to Queenstown from Christchurch and staying for the weekend. Going to ski in Remarkable and/or Coronet Peak. Have a 4WD with snow chains if need. Anyone is keen to join me for the ride?

Weather Comment
The temps are dropping and winter is fast approaching. Make sure you've got your lift passes sorted for another epic winter at Remarks! We open 13 June. The road is open, the $15 tollgate is operating, and visitors are welcome. The base area is a construction site - please follow the fenced pedestrian area between Carpark 1 and the ski area. Please note that until we open for winter operations the ski area is the backcountry. Natural and man-made hazards exist and are unmarked and unprotected. The road is not managed as in winter. There are no rescue or support services on the ski area or the road, in case of emergency dial 111.
