2WD: Carry 4WD: Carry Enjoy your journey. If spending the night in the lodge, please make your journey up the hill early rather than later, we advise all travel be completed by 7pm. Remember when travelling on the access road to observe the 30km speed limit. We ask that you reduce your speed to 10km as you travel through the 2 slip areas - these will be marked by cones and safety fencing. Downhill traffic give-way to uphill and please put your headlights on. Please obey all signs on the road, they are there for your safety.
Weather Comment
At 6:30am we have overcast / Cloudy skies which is forecast to clear this morning to a fine day ahead. Southerly will switch to light NW this evening and freezing level rising from 1200 to 1900m
Information
UPDATE - FRIDAY 19 SEPTEMBER @ 6:30am We've had 3cm of new snow during the night but this unfortunately isn't going to be enough to make up for what we have lost from the rain and mild temps earlier in the week so we will not be in a position to re-open the mountain this weekend. If there is a significant snowfall over the next few days which allows us to re-open next weekend we will look to do this.
