Road info
We are now parking at Rakaia Saddle and offering a free shuttle to our base area. Maintain two-way access at all times and observe the 40km/h maximum speed limit. If you have a long line of traffic behind you, please pull over and allow faster vehicles to pass.
Weather Comment
At 9am, the mountain is well above a thick layer of low cloud, with clear blue skies all around. We have light breezes in the base area and 30km/h northerlies at the summit. We've seen warmer temps overnight so all groomed trails and parks will start out silky under foot. If the day warms as forecast, there is a chance ungroomed snow will release and allow us into our off-piste zones. Our ski patrol will be assessing these areas throughout the day and will open terrain as conditions allow.
Information
Soak up the happy vibes and tasty toasties at our Aperol Ice Bar at the top of the Nor'West from 11am. We'll have live music playing on Opuke Kai deck and C6 are up here with their latest ski tech for you to try out.
