The upper half of the road is unsafe today due to strong wind gusts and drifting snow and gate is closed/locked just above Scott's Saddle.

Partly cloudy until mid-morning then some snow. Northwesterlies.
Information
Unfortunately Mt Hutt is closed again today (Tuesday) due to gale force northwesterly winds. Winds are forecast to rage all day and then ease back significantly overnight so we have a high degree of confidence that we will be back open again tomorrow.We will assess conditions again at 6am tomorrow morning.
