Weather Comment

It’s 4pm and Mt Hutt is now closed for the day. Thank you to everyone who visited us, if you didn’t make it up today, here’s what you missed: We have high cloud cover, and the wind is still tracking well above forecasted levels: moderate winds in the base area and over 100km/h wind gusts at the Summit. Lift operations are being impacted by the wind today, the Summit 6 has now closed for the day. On the plus-side, we are fortunate to have NZ's most capable chairlift for operating on windy days and is proving it's worth against Mother Nature. Tomorrow’s weather forecast according to MetService.com is Partly cloudy. Northwesterlies.Tomorrow morning, we will assess the current conditions, and we will update this report by 6am. We are really looking forward to seeing you soon.

Information

Summit Collective, Sportive and Jones Bros will be up here with their latest ski tech for you to try out.
