Road info

Chains must be fitted to 2WD first thing this morning from Chain Bay 1. Self-fit chain hire is available from Chain Bay 1 (Info Booth). Drivers of vehicles who breach our chain call and invariably require assistance from our road patrol team will be charged a $800 fee. All other vehicles must carry chains as road surface conditions can change quickly due to traffic volumes and/or weather conditions. If you see a line of traffic forming behind you, please pull to the side to allow faster vehicles past. Speed limit on the access road is 40km/h – maintain 2-way access at all time.

Weather Comment

Fine. Westerlies dying out.

Information

The road is now open.Group lessons will now be from 11am - 4pm with a 30min lunch break. The summit and triple chair lift will be placed on a temporary hold due to avalanche control at 11:00am, we anticipate this will be completed around 12:30pm, please respect all signage and closures.Today we have unlimited views across the region and mint conditions. There are some pockets of untracked powder after yesterday's 20 cm of fresh snow, and with these breezes, the mountain may be buffed smooth for some fun wind-blown freshies. If winds increase, we may need to carry out control work within the ski area and on the access road, so please be prepared for possible delays if this occurs. She Shred is back, offering women skiers and riders the opportunity to receive free park coaching. Interested participants should meet outside the Terrain Park building at 9:00am.We are really looking forward to seeing you soon!
