Coronet Peak Snow Report
Status
Road
Snow
30cm — 110cm
Road info
The roads team are jumping on the upper section of the road to clear this mornings snow. At this stage 2WD to fit at Chain Bay 4. This is very close to the top so you do have the option of parking up there and taking one of our free shuttles. Our expectation is that temperatures will lower on a wet road so its essential that everyone carrys chains and be prepared to fit them if we need to make that call.
Weather Comment
Through the day the odd morning snow shower will clear out to a mainly fine day with temperatures dropping so bring an extra layer. We have picked up 4cm of snow at base this morning and 10cm up top. It's still pretty soft underneath from yesterdays rain so we will leave it as is and ski and ride it in. It will be a forgiving and fun surface, pretty much a powder day at the Peak.
Information
An ankle deep powder day at the Peak! Daily First Tracks is now finished for the season. But do not fear, we'll be doing a pop-up first tracks this Friday, Saturday and Sunday (19th, 20th, 21st September).
