Road info

ALL VEHICLES MUST CARRY CHAINS. Chains are required on all 2WD vehicles from Chain Bay 2 (Canterbury View). Self-fit chain hire is available. Drivers of vehicles who breach our chain call and invariably require assistance from our road patrol team will be charged a $800 fee. All other vehicles must carry chains as road surface conditions can change quickly due to traffic volumes and/or weather conditions. If you see a line of traffic forming behind you, please pull to the side to allow faster vehicles past. Speed limit on the access road is 40km/h – maintain 2-way access at all time.

Weather Comment

Snow, clearing late in the afternoon to fine weather. Not much wind.

Information

Good morning, we're open! It's a great day to get out with 15cm of new snow across the entire mountain and very little wind. We've got all our lifts and the majority of terrain open. Some terrain may be subject to vis holds throughout the day. Please respect all closures and signage. The higher you go up the mountain, the lighter and drier the snow becomes. You'll want your low-light lenses today, as snow showers are forecast throughout the day. But who cares? It's a powder day!Drive safe and we look forward to seeing you all soon.
