Road info

All vehicles must carry chains. Drivers of vehicles who breach our chain call and invariably require assistance from our road patrol team will be charged a $800 fee. All other vehicles must carry chains as road surface conditions can change quickly due to traffic volumes and/or weather conditions. The speed limit on our access road is 40km/h. If you see a line of vehicles forming behind you, please pull to the side to allow faster vehicles to pass. Keep to the left and maintain 2-way access at all times. Thanks!

Weather Comment

Cloudy, with snow developing about dawn. Light winds.

Information

We will have First Tracks on this morning, limited to the Nor'west due to a delay in upper mountain grooming.Cloudy conditions are on the cards today, with snow expected to develop as we head into the afternoon. Visibility is likely to be limited at times, so keep those low-light lenses handy and make sure you’re skiing or riding to the conditions. The snowpack is firm to start the day, particularly off trail. With some precipitation around and changing conditions throughout the day, we may see the surface soften up quicker than expected before temperatures cool and the snow starts to fall.Come prepared for a proper alpine day, take it easy in the low vis and fingers crossed for a fresh top-up this afternoon!
