Road info
Chains carried. Self-fit chain hire is available. Drivers of vehicles who breach our chain call and invariably require assistance from our road patrol team will be charged a $800 fee. All other vehicles must carry chains as road surface conditions can change quickly due to traffic volumes and/or weather conditions. If you see a line of traffic forming behind you, please pull to the side to allow faster vehicles past. Speed limit on the access road is 40km/h – maintain 2-way access at all time.

It’s 4pm and Mt Hutt is now closed for the day. Thank you to everyone who visited us.Tomorrow’s weather forecast according to MetService.com is: Fine until mid-afternoon then some snow. Light winds.Up the hill tomorrow we have face painting for the kids (or the adults because why not!) and some awesome demos from Mckewings, Dynastar & the Summit Collective to try out!Tomorrow morning we will assess the current conditions and we will update this report by 6:30 am.
