Weather Comment
We woke to a fresh dusting on the maunga this morning, 2cm at base and around 4cm up top. Snowmaking fired up around midnight and is still going hard, topping things up nicely. The weather’s cloudy early but set to clear, and our Groomers have been out all night getting the piste dialed for some epic early runs. With last night’s sprinkle there are some sweet little pockets waiting if you’re keen to go find your line off-piste, however conditions are still variable so please take care. We’re still in the thick of Aussie school holidays, so keep an eye out for the kids and ride to the snow safety code. Whether you’re carving your first turns on the carpets, making memories with the whānau in our snow play area, dropping into the chutes, or getting extreme in our world-class parks, the mountain’s ready for you. Road conditions: Chain-free for 4WD, but 2WD must chain up at the 8km mark. It’s shaping up to be an epic day. Get up here, find your freedom, and share the stoke. See you on the maunga!
