Snow
5cm — 10cm
Information
It’s looking like winter has shown up fashionably late for Porters. We received about 5cm of snow in our base area overnight, and the mountain is looking a bit more like it’s supposed to. There is another 15-20cm expected tonight. That’s not going to be enough to get us open tomorrow, but it’s getting close, and with good snowmaking conditions expected for the next few days, we are cautiously optimistic that we will be able to get some lifts spinning middle of next week. Keep an eye on our report and socials for an update on the ski area opening. As soon as we have enough snow on the ground, we will get winter 26 under way. Porters Lodge, Restaurant and Bar will be opening for the winter season at 2pm tomorrow (Friday). We will also be running the snowmaking system on our snow play area at Porters Lodge, Restaurant and Bar over the next couple of days, as conditions allow. We are going to try our best to get Snowplay open for this weekend, but it all depends on what the weather does over the next 48 hours. Regardless of what mother nature does send our way, there will be amazing views, great food, plentiful refreshments, and a warm welcome, so head up there over the weekend to enjoy a return to winter in the Craigieburn Range! Please check our socials and this report for a Snowplay update on Friday afternoon. Looking forward to seeing you all soon!
