Remarkables Snow Report
Status
Road
Snow
30cm — 100cm
Road info
Be aware of frost and icy conditions around the 3km mark. Drive with caution and give each other space. As the highway at the bottom of our road has become increasingly busy, turning right has become more difficult and causes traffic to back up our road. Given this, exiting our road is now left turn only. Use the roundabout 1km down the road to turn back to Frankton and Queenstown - only 2mins, and faster and safer for everyone.
Weather Comment
The sun’s dipped, the lifts are finished spinning, and it’s time to rest those legs. Thanks for making it another great one up here — from mellow laps to big sends, we saw it all. We’ll be ready for you tomorrow. Same maunga, new lines. Carpool priority continues tomorrow. See below, "What's Happening Today" for details Goodnight from Kawarau Maunga.
Information
Guests can collect their MyPass card at Queenstown Airport - skip the queue on the mountain and head straight to the snow! Reminder that bringing your own alcohol up to the mountain is prohibited due to liquor licensing. Carpool Priority Days are here for the NZ School holidays. Vehicles with three or more occupants can park in Carparks 1-3, vehicles with less than three, park in Carpark 4 from where the shuttle will run from 0745. Please note on CPDs our shuttles are on Carpark 4, so those in Carparks 1-3 can use the Dropzone to drop the kids and gear at the top, those in Carpark 4 can't access the Dropzone but the shuttle takes you to the front door.
