Meet 6:00am weekends and 7.00am midweek at Yaldhurst Road, just over Russley Road intersection. (Approximately 417 Yaldhurst Road Google Maps).
There’s plenty of parking there.
Door-to-door available from Northwood along northern Corridor to Yaldhurst.
I have a late model AWD; chains; specialist skis/board rack.
$25 per person.
Returning at 4 or earlier if conditions deteriorate, or when everyone is ready.

Road info
Our access road is open through to Carpark 4 (Zed Creek) where you'll reach a locked gate (approx. 11km up). Our base area car parks and lodge facilities are currently a construction zone and will not be accessible by road (with the exception of construction workers) until May 2027. If you wish to use our road to access the back country, please park at Carpark 4 and hike up and along the ridge above Carpark 3 (Rakaia Saddle). Note: the Bluffs (between Carpark 3 and the base area) is a no-walking zone due to the rock fall hazard. When using the Mt Hutt access road, please drive with care, observe the 40km/h speed limit and maintain 2-way access.
