Mt Hutt Snow Report
Status

Snow
102cm — 149cm
Road info
Please observe the 40km/h speed limit and keep left at all times to maintain 2-way traffic flow. If you have a line of traffic forming behind you, pull to the left to allow faster vehicles to pass safely.
Weather Comment
We have clear skies, calm conditions in the base area and 35km/h winds at the summit. Our grooming team have enjoyed an uninterrupted night of near-perfect conditions to punch out acres of seamless cord across all trails. Our parks have also been expertly restored offering a full spectrum of free-style challenges - including Gunners Alley which opens with one large jump along with a couple of new, smaller jumps tucked away in Hoods Hollow. Off-piste is a slightly different story - great coverage but very firm. Please respect all closures - they are there for your safety. Our Ski Patrol will assess snow conditions through the day and will open terrain if/when the snow softens on solar aspects during the day. Check signage at the Summit 6 unload for the latest status of our off-piste zones.
Information
Rumour has it our Alpine Spa might open today for the first time this season! Pack your togs and towel and head to the summit if you are game to be the first to take a dip in NZ's highest hot tub. Alternatively you could take a breather and soak up the chill vibes at our Aperol Ice Bar which will open at 11am.
