Coronet Peak Snow Report
Status
Road
Snow
55cm — 90cm
Road info
The road is wet to start the day, including through the valley, so be careful of the morning freeze. Things could get a bit slippery! On the mountain road we ask that you carry chains. We have cleared snow and laid down grit so you won't need to fit them but that doesn't mean you might not hit a few slick patches.
Weather Comment
A sunny, cold clear day. Light winds.
Information
Kia ora from Coronet Peak and welcome to Day Two of SNOW MACHINE!We have clear skies, light winds and cool temperatures. To top it off we have 5cm of new snow at base and 10cms up top that fell across all our well-groomed runs. It's going to be a mint start to the day.Off piste will vary based on the underlying surface as there has also been a bit of wind action overnight. For sure there will be some good pockets, and so Patrol will be up early checking all is good. Their early morning report is "Day of the Season"We know you are frothing to get out there but please make sure to follow the snow code and ride within your ability.
