Radio up from Bottom Hut requesting "Road Cone" for the latest road conditions. Radio again from the container if you are wanting to drive up our summer road plus remember to grab a tow belt. Summer road is accessible for 4wd from the container. Please be aware and respectful of farm traffic through Glenthorne Station.
Information
Friday October 9th. OPEN. Tows spinning 10am. "Last Supper" is upon us. We have clear sunny skies and above the low lying cloud along the plains. Its going to be an absolute ripper up here today so get your zink or SPF on and join us for a pre closing day sensation. Skiing will be firm at first this morning softening quickly as the day progresses. Over the last week or so our snowpack has thinned out a lot in high traffic areas and lower in the basin so watch out for unmarked hazards and take it easy. Massive shout out to chef Lloyd who has a busy day on his hands! On behalf of everyone thanks for your epic kai throughout winter 2026. Please radio up from bottom hut and radio again from the container if wanting to come up the summer road which is accessible for 4wd. See you soon!
