It’s 4pm and Mt Hutt is now closed for the day. Thank you to everyone who visited us today, if you didn’t make it up today, here’s what you missed: "As of 2.30pm, moderate wind gusts are rolling over the Summit. Currently, all lifts are open. Our team will be actively monitoring all lifts and terrain to ensure safe operations. We appreciate your patience and understanding, please be kind to our staff as the weather is beyond our control but what we can control is the amazing coffee from Opuke Kai! Yum." RISK OF LONG/UNCONTROLLED SLIDES IN OFF-PISTE TERRAIN. Check all signage before heading out and do not cross under rope-lines - these are in place for your safety. Helmets strongly recommended with the current, firm snow conditions". Tomorrow’s weather forecast according to MetService.com is "Snow with westerlies." Tomorrow morning, we will assess the current conditions, and we will update this report by 6am.
