Chains on 2wd from the tractor shed if your tyres aren't good. The road is mostly clear, but it could be a little slick the last 100 m to the carpark. No campervans, trailers, or long vehicles past the tractor shed.

Information
We are OPEN. It's really not a great day to go to work. We received another 4 cm overnight at Palmer. This brings the storm total at Palmer to 8 cm with about 15 cm near the ridge. The skiing up at BR has been incredible and today will be the pick of the last few days. We will have Allan's Basin open this morning after being closed on Sunday. Fresh tracks to be had for all! The weather forecast calls for a mix of sun and clouds today, so there should be good visibility to admire your turns while sipping a beer on the Palmer deck. The tram is OPEN and operating normal hours today: 8:30 to 10:30 am and 3:30 to 5:30 pm Book in to our lodges for the full NZ club field experience at brokenriver.co.nz
