SUMMER ROAD ON HOLD FIRST THING TILL WE DOZE SINCE WE GOT MORE UNEXPECTED SNOW OVERNIGHT!!!!. Radio from Bottom Hut when you arrive for updates. Chains on all vehicles today. All vehicles can drive to the container (Main Carpark). 4x4 with chains can use the Summer Road to reach the Main Tow & Learners Area - please radio up from the Container first and don't forget to grab a towbelt on the way!

Friday 29th August - We are Open with a slight delay as we clear and de ice, Opening 10am! We woke this morning to more new snow! 10cm total from this storm which the wind has moved and smoothed it out nicely Yesterday after the lodge guests enjoyed a private field to themselves for the morning (with some saying it was the best Main Face has skied this season), the gale winds and snow moved in to refresh the field and bought with it beautiful base building snow. The goat track is looking the best it has in weeks, to give you smooth, only slightly sharky, tracks back to the Main Tow Below Bus Stop it may be thin and sharky in places, but you can safely and easily make it back to the tow - yes that's right, you can ski on snow back to our tows, and you don't even have to watch out for spaniards. Summer Road is on hold as it is dozed, should be open before 10am (which allows you to drive your 4x4 filled with family & friends to within touching distance of our tows). See you all up here!
