Hi, I’m in Christchurch for a week. Looking for a lift on Wed 27 Aug, Thurs 28 Aug or Fri 29 Aug. Porters and Mt Hutt have been recommended as I am intermediate skier. But open to other ski fields- let me know.

Porters will be closed today. At 5:45am we have strong winds at all elevations, which are expected to continue throughout the day. Overnight we have had 5cm of new snow on the upper mountain, a bit less lower down. We will update this report at 5:45am tomorrow with the latest conditions. Porters Lodge Restaurant and Bar is open today. Our access road is open as far as the Lodge. If you need to re-book lessons or contact guest services, please email office@skiporters.co.nz
