**MÅrena from Whakapapa.**It's a very chilly morning on the maunga, with snow being transported around the place, and a gale force southerly!! The wind has abated slightly up high so will will continue to monitor.The Happy Valley beginners area, Snowland, and base area facilities are open.The wind has eased, and so the Rangatira Chair is being prepped and we now hope to have this open before 2pm.All upper mountain facilities are closed for the day.
