Information
9:30 am Update- We received about 7 cm of new snow in the last few hours and now we have partly cloudy skies with excellent visibility. The skiing is excellent!!! All tows are running smoothly with winds less than forecast. It's currently snowing at Broken River! Snow conditions have been staying soft with the recent cool temperatures. Another 3 to 6 cm today will provide great skiing. Expect to find wind buffed snow too. The snow underneath will be harder on the skiers right side of the basin, near the Main Tow, where the snow surface was melting and freezing. The strong winds this morning may affect tow operations, especially the Ridge and Main Tows. Ski conditions are the best they have been all winter and more snow is on the way! For the full club field experience, stay with us and enjoy waking up to beautiful mountain views, and being first one up on the mountain. Check out your options on our website and book your accomodation by emailing bookings@brokenriver.co.nz No beginnner tow riders on the Access Tow. Please walk to Palmer Lodge and practice on the Learner Tow progressing to the Traverse Tow and then the Rugby Tow. Tram hours are 8:30 am to 10:30 am and 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
